Tomas Delininkaitis joins AEK Athens

Greek club AEK Athens (A1) has landed the services of experienced Lithuanian guard Tomas Delininkaitis (190 cm) for the 2014-15 season. He is a multiple-time member of the Lithuanian national team in 2005-06, 2008-09, and again in 2013. Tomas began the 2013-14 season playing for VEF Riga (Latvia-LBL). He appeared in one game in their Euroleague run and tallied 14 points. Delininkaitis played four games in Eurocup competition and posted averages of 9.5 ppg and 2.0 apg. In four VTB United League games he averaged 9.8 ppg and 4.0 apg. In November 2013 he headed to Turkey to play for Torku Selcuk Universitesi Konya (TBL) and there he averaged 14.7 ppg and 2.7 apg.
