Taverius Wilkins signs with Once Caldas de Manizales

Taverius Wilkins (211 cm, Wilberforce’10) has been signed by Once Caldas de Manizales from Colombia’s Copa Federacion. Wilkins started the 2012-13 season playing for Cercle Municipal Casablance from Morocco’s Division 1, but moved to the Dayton Knights from the USA’s UBA. He played two games for the Knights before signing with the Colombian club. In those games he averaged 11.5 ppg and 8.0 rpg.

In 2012 the 26-year-old played for the Sauk Valley Predators (USA-PBL) and he only managed to log averages of 0.7 ppg and 0.8 rpg in nine games.

Once Caldas is currently second in the Copa Federacion’s Group A  standings with a record of 18-13.
