Tasmin Mitchell joins Chalons-Reims

Tasmin Mitchell (201 cm, LSU’10) is set to continue his professional career with Champagne Chalon-Reims Basket (France-ProA) this 2014-15 season. The 28-year-old forward played the 2013-14 season in Israel’s Winner league for Maccabi Rishon Le-Zion. Tasmin played 29 games for Maccabi Rishon and was able to produce averages of 13.9 ppg and 4.9 rpg.

In the 2012-13 season Mitchell was on the roster of Triumph Lyubertsy (Russia-PBL). He played 12 games in the Eurocup and averaged 12.3 ppg and 3.8 rpg. In 20 VTB United league games he averaged 8.0 ppg and 3.2 rpg. Tasmin was also able to log 14 games in the domestic Russian league and there he averaged 7.8 ppg and 3.6 rpg.
