Tai Wesley inks with Southland Sharks

Tai Wesley (200 cm, Utah State’11) is on his way to the New Zealand NBL team Zero Fees Southland Sharks this 2014-15 season. The young, 28-year-old forward spent the 2013-14 season playing for SPM Shoeters Den Bosch (Netherlands-Eredivisie). He played six games for the Dutch team in the Eurochallenge and averaged 17.7 ppg and 6.2 rpg. In the domestic Eredivisie league Tai met with some success. He averaged 14.1 ppg and 5.8 rpg, while helping his team reach the Dutch Eredivisie Finals, the Dutch Cup semifinals and win the Dutch Supercup in 2014.
