Smush Parker signs with Peristeri

Former Los Angeles Lakers guard Smush Parker (193 cm, Fordham’02) has signed with Peristeri BC Athens from Greece’s A1. Parker began the 2012-13 season with a brief five-game stint playing for KK Cibona VIP Zagreb from Croatia’s A1. During that run the 31-year-old veteran averaged 9.8 ppg and 2.8 apg.

He played in Iran’s Superleague for Petrochimi Bandar Imam Harbour in the 2011-12 season. He played four games in Iran and averaged 9.8 ppg and 4.5 apg. He then moved to Guaros de Lara from Venezuela’s LPB in Ferbruary 2012. There he played 29 games and averaged 14.0 ppg and 3.2 apg. Later that season, he transferred to the Indios de San Francisco from the Dominican Republic’s LNB.
