Shawn Redhage heads to Arecibo

Shawn RedhageShawn Redhage (203 cm Arizona State’03) has inked a deal to play for Capitanes de Arecibo in the Puerto Rican BSN. The forward joins the franchise for the BSN season after spending time with the Perth Wildcats in the Australian NBL. The American/Australian featured in 33 games for Perth and logged numbers of 13.6 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. It will not be the first time the veteran has played in Puerto Rico as he has previously worn the jersey of Pirates de Quebradillas.

During his last stint in the league he played 35 games and grabbed 14.6 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. 33-year old Shawn Redhage has only ever played in Australia or Puerto Rico since turning professional from Arizona State in 2003.
