Shawn Atupem returns to Vilpas

Salon Vilpas Vikings (Finland, Korisliiga) have announced the signing of Shawn Atupem (200 cm, Mt. Saint Mary´s University´11) for the season. The forward is arriving as a replacement for James Padgett (203 cm, Maryland´13) who has picked up an injury that requires surgery and a lengthy lay off. The player is coming to the Vikings for his second stint with the team from KR Reykjavik Iceland´s Dominos League, where he has been playing for this season.

Shawn Atupem is well known to Vilpas Vikings fans after he played for the team during the 2012/2013 season. During the campaign he took to the court 47 times and averaged 15.0 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.
