Shane Southwell goes Pro with Pioneros

Shane Southwell (198 cm, Kansas State’14) has begun his professional basketball career this 2014/15 with the Pioneros de Quintana Roo-Cancun (Mexico-LNBP). He has already logged his first game with the team under his belt. The 22-year-old Southwell tallied five points, five rebounds, and five assists in 24 minutes of action on the court. In his senior year at Kansas State Shane averaged 9.9 ppg and 4.3 rpg. In 2012/13 he averaged 8.4 ppg and 3.8 rpg. His team reached the Big 12 tournament finals and he was an All-Big 12 honorable mention in 2013.
