Sebastian Telfair signs with TianJin Steel

Former NBA point guard Sebastian Telfair (183 cm) is leaving the league and has signed with Chinese CBA team, TianJin Steel, for the 2013-14 season. Telfair was selected by the Portland Trail Blazers, with the thirteenth pick, straight out of high school during the 2004 NBA Draft.

Sebastian split the 2012-13 season between two NBA teams, the Phoenix Suns and the Toronto Raptors. As a back-up point guard for the Suns Telfair put up averages of 6.0 ppg and 2.5 apg in 46 games. In February 2013 he was traded to the Toronto Raptors. Sebastian played 13 games for Toronto, backing up Kyle Lowry and averaged 4.3 ppg and 3.0 apg.
