Scott Machado joins ASVEL

ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (France-ProA) has added Brazilian-American guard Scott Machado (188 cm, Iona’12) for the rest of the season. He was a recent addition to the Brazilian National Team in 2013. Throughout Machado’s professional career he has played for several NBA and NBA D-League teams.

This 2013-14 Scott started off with the Utah Jazz then in January 2014 moved to the Santa Cruz Warriors of the D-League. He played a total of 13 games for the Warriors and averaged 8.6 ppg and 3.2 apg. In March Machado transferred to the Idaho Stampede. He fared better with the Stampede, posting averages of 10.2 ppg and 6.0 apg through 14 games.
