Ryan Richards pens with Azad

British international player Ryan Richards (212 cm) has agreed to terms to play for Azad University Tehran (Iran-Superleague) this 2015. He was a former member of the British national team in 2011. The big man is coming off a stint playing in Europe where he managed to suit up for a couple of teams. He began the 2014/15 season playing for BC Zepter Vienna (Austria-A Bundesliga). In five games he recorded averages of 20.2 ppg and 6.8 rpg. In October 2014 he shifted to Egis Kormend (Hungary-A Division). In six EuroChallenge games he averaged 20.7 ppg and 7.8 rpg. Ryan also played 26 games in the domestic Hungarian league and there he averaged 22.3 ppg and 8.8 rpg.
