Russell Robinson to play in Poland

Russell Robinson (185 cm, Kansas’08) is set to play in Poland for PGE Turow Zgorzelec (TBL). Robinson, an American-Guinean, played for Angelico Biella from Italy’s Serie A at the beginning of this season. In 15 games for Angelico, he averaged 12.6 ppg and 2.1 apg.

In 2011-12 the 27-year-old played for Trabzonpor Basketball from Turkey’s TBL (2nd League), where he as a member of the starting five. In 18 games he averaged 13.4 ppg and 3.2 apg. He transferred to there in November 2011 after playing the pre-season for JSF Nanterre from France’s Pro A.
