Ross Bekkering retained by Groningen

Donar Groningen (Netherlands-Eredivisie) has retained the services of Canadian player, Ross Bekkering (203 cm) for yet another season this  2015. Bekkering has been with Groningen since 2013, but has played his entire pro career in the Netherlands. In 2014/15 Ross was able to play 9.8 ppg and 5.3 rpg for Groningen over the course of 25 games. He helped his club reach the Dutch Eredivisie finals and win the Dutch Supercup in 2015.

In 2013/14 Ross participated in six EuroChallenge games for the Dutch powerhouse and averaged 8.7 ppg and 4.8 rpg. He managed to play in a total of 46 games in the domestic Dutch Eredivisie league and there he delivered averages of 8.8 ppg and 5.9 rpg.
