More than anything, we know that Basketball is not only a U.S. sport anymore.
Shortly after parting ways with Sutor Montegranaro (Italy, Serie A), Ronald Steele (187 cm, Alabama’09) has signed with Hapoel Migdal Jerusalem from Israel’s Winner League. He was quickly thrown into action as he already suited up to play his first game for Hapoel Jerusalem. It was a rather uneventful game for Steele as he only managed to tally one rebound while being unable to score nor record an assist in 13 minutes of play on the floor.
Hapoel J-M has a record of 11-9 and is looking to Steele’s addition as a boost to their back court. In 2010 Ronald Steele was with Bnei Eshet Tours Hasharon (Israel-Premier League) when they reached the Israeli Cup Finals that year. He averaged 12.8 ppg and 4.9 apg in 28 games playing for Bnei Hasharon.
