Romeo Travis departs Strasbourg

Romeo Travis (201 cm, Akron’07) has left Strasbourg IG (France-Pro A) this 2015. He played a total of 12 games for them before his departure. Travis played six games in the Euroleague and averaged 5.8 ppg and 3.8 rpg. Romeo logged six games in the French Pro A and there he averaged 7.3 ppg and 5.2 rpg.

The 30-year-old Travis is coming off a brief stint playing in the Philippines for the Alaska Aces (Philippines-PBA) as their import for the Governor’s Cup in 2015. He averaged a double-double in 19 games with 22.6 ppg and 11.8 rpg, taking his team all the way to the finals.

In 2014/15 Romeo suited up for Krasny Oktyabr Volgograd (Russia-VTB) and represented them in two leagues. He played 16 games for them in the Eurocup and averaged 14.4 ppg and 7.2 rpg. Travis also appeared in 24 games in the VTB United league and there he posted averages of 11.5 ppg and 6.0 rpg.
