Roburt Sallie joins Bakken Bears

Reigning Danish league champions, the Bakken Bears, have picked up Memphis alum Roburt Sallie (196 cm, Memphis’10) for the 2014-15 season. Sallie is coming off a run in Israel’s National league in 2013-14. He began the season playing for Elitzur Ramla, where he played just 10 games and averaged 21.6 ppg and 6.0 rpg. In December 2013 he switched teams, joining Hapoel Afula where he finished the season. Roburt posted averages of 18.1 ppg and 6.6 rpg in 25 games for Hapoel Afula, aiding his club make a 2014 Israeli National league finals appearance.
