Rickey Young pens with BC Jyvaskyla

Rickey Young (205 cm, West Virginia Tech’11) has signed a deal to play for BC Jyvaskyla from Finland’s Korisliiga this 2014/15. This return to Europe gives Young an opportunity to further his career. The 24-year-old began the early part of the 2013/14 season with the Giessen 46ers (Germany-ProA). In 18 games Young was able to average 5.8 ppg and 5.2 rpg. He left the team in January 2014 to play in Kosovo. Rickey then headed Bolivia and represented La Salle-UPB Cochabamba (Liga Superior) in the Liga Sudamericana. In three games he averaged 16.0 ppg and 7.7 rpg.
