Rasheem Barrett joins Naglis Palangos

rasheem barrettRasheem Barrett (196 cm, Auburn’09) has signed with Naglis Palangos from Lithuania’s LKL. He has already played his first game for the team and tallied 11 points and five rebounds in 24 minutes of action. Barrett began the 2012-13 season playing in Japan for the Tokyo Cinq Reves. He played 28 games in Japan’s BJ League and averaged 11.6 ppg and 4.3 rpg.

The 2011-12 season was a busy one for Rasheem Barrett. He moved around a lot, playing for a total of four teams through the course of the season. He started it by signing with the Summerside Storm from Canada’s NBL, where he played just four games. In December 2011 he moved to the Tennessee Dragons from the USA’s UBA. Three months later he joined Sokol de Antofagasta from Chile’s Dimayor. Finally, he played for Al Ahli Sidab from Oman’s D1 after signing with them in May 2012.
