Primoz Brezec landed by AEK

Petrolina AEK Larnaca (Cyrpus-Division A) has landed former NBA big man Primoz Brezec (216 cm) for the 2014/15 season. The Slovenian has already played his first game for AEK and Brezec managed to tally 15 points while grabbing six rebounds. AEK is the first team Primoz will be playing for outside of Russia, since leaving the NBA. He spent the last couple of seasons on the roster of BC Nhizny Novgorod (Russia-VTB). In 2013/14 Brezec played 17 games for them during their run in the Eurocup and averaged 13.4 ppg and 4.1 rpg. He also played a dozen games in the Russian VTB and there he produced averages of 11.2 ppg and 4.0 rpg.
