Pete Mickeal continues career at Santurce

Pete Mickeal (199 cm, Cincinnati’00) will be playing for Cangrejeros de Santurce (Puerto Rico-BSN) this 2013-14 season. The long-time veteran of Spain’s Liga Endesa was originally set to retire from professional basketball after parting ways with Regal FC Barcelona in 2013. This season he was able to play five games for UCAM Murcia (Spain-Liga Endesa) after signing with them in January. He averaged 12.0 ppg and 5.0 rpg.

In 2012-13, his final season with Barcelona, Mickeal logged 23 games in the Spanish league and averaged 10.1 ppg and 4.4 rpg. He also played 20 games for them in the Euroleague and there he notched averages of 11.4 ppg and 3.9 rpg.
