Omar Thomas signed by Halcones Rojos

Omar Thomas (196 cm, UTEP’06) has agreed to terms with Halcones Rojos de Veracruz (Mexico-LNBP) this 2015-16. This will be his first time to play in the Mexican LNBP. Omar has had extensive experience playing in Italian leagues, where he has spent most of his professional career. In 2014-15 Omar was on the roster of FCM Ferentino (Italy-A2 Gold). In 31 games he was able to deliver averages of 14.3 ppg and 6.1 rpg. His team was an Italian LNP Cup Finalist 2015.

Thomas had a solid run with Banco di Sardegna Sassari (Italy-Serie A). He played 18 games for them during their run in the Eurocup and averaged 13.3 ppg and 4.8 rpg. He also appeared in 39 games in the Italian Serie A and there he posted averages of 10.6 ppg and 4.5 rpg.
