Nemanja Besovic signs with Spirou

Nemanja Besovic (221 cm) signed a three-year deal with Belgacom Spirou from Belgium (Ethias League). The 21-year-old Serbian big man will have an NBA out clause attached to every end of each year in his contract. This will be Bosevic’s first professional foray outside of Serbia. In 2012-13 he played BC Partizan MT:S Beograd from Serbia’s B League.

He was a former member of the Serbian U20 National Team and played nine games in 2012 World Championships, posting averages of 8.7 ppg and 2.8 rpg. In 2011, playing for U19 Team in the World Championships he hit averages of 7.0 ppg and 3.6 rpg in nine games.
