Mogi das Cruzes beat the São Paolo state champion

Mogi das Cruzes/Sanifill made a recovery in the initial round of the Men’s Championship of the state of São Paulo, Brazil by beating the Pinheiros/Sky, the current state champion this past Sunday. They won 91 to 80 in the city Mogi das Cruzes.

Highlights: Patekoski – 24 points, 9 rebounds and  Guilherme Filipin – 22 points, 5 rebounds and 1 assist for the Mogi. For the Pinheiros: Mineiro – 21 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, Márcio Dornelles – 18 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and Paulinho – 18 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists.

“Its an important victory against the state Champion, which will give us strength and allow us to grow. Winning at home is always important in a tight competition like this one.” Analyzed the Mogi’s Guilherme Filipin.

Mogi feels revived by their victory and hope to use that energy to keep on fighting.
