Mihalis Kakiouzis released by SAV Vacallo

Mihalis Kakiouzis (206 cm) has been released by SAV Vacallo Basket from Switzerland’s LNA. The Greek player signed a deal with them in October 2012. He played 12 games for SAV Vacallo and averaged 15.5 ppg and 7.7 rpg.

Before playing in Switzerland, he started the 2011-12 season playing for Gescrap Bizkaia Bilbao Basket from Spain’s ACB. In November 2011, he moved to Vanoli Cremona from Italy’s Serie A. There, he averaged 8.5 ppg and 5.3 rpg in four games. Only after one month Kakiouzis transferred to Acea Virtus Roma which is also from Italy’s Serie A. He finished off the season there and logged averages of 7.9 ppg and 4.1 rpg through 22 games.
