France’s Mickael Gelabale defends Kobe Bryant during the 2012 Olympics

Mickael Gelabale (201 cm) has agreed to terms with Valencia Basket (Spain-ACB) for the rest of the season. Most recently Gelabale was with KK Cedevita Zagreb (Croatia-A1) where he averaged 12.9 points per game over the first nine games of the season. He was with Cedevita on a short-term medical assignment to replace the injured Marko Tomas. Gelabale was drafted by the Seattle Supersonics in the 2nd round (48th pick overall) of the 2005 NBA Draft and played two seasons in Seattle, averaging 4.5 points per game over 109 games and two seasons, 2005-06 and 2006-07. Gelabale also played for the French National Team in 2005-06 and 2010-12 (including the 2012 London Olympics), as well as the French U20 and U21 teams.

    Valencia coach will love him. he was already a good player when palying for Real..but now he seems to be a much better player.
