Michael Umeh moves to Enel Brindisi

Michael Umeh (188 cm, UNLV’07) is moving to Italian Serie A team Enel Brindisi for the remainder of the 2013-14 season. The Nigerian-American player is a former member of the Nigerian National Team in 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2011. Enel Brindisi is in prime position to head into the Serie A post-season. The team is fourth in the standings with a 18-9 record.

Michael is coming from Bnei Hertzeliyya (Israel-Winner League), which he joined at the beginning of the season. Before leaving Umeh logged 28 games with Bnei Hertzeliyya and averaged 15.6 ppg and 2.7 apg.

In  2012-13 season he played in Italy’s Lega Due for Pallacanestro Trento 2009. Umeh logged 35 games in the Italian Lega2 and averaged 17.1 ppg and 2.0 apg, taking his team to the semifinals in 2013.
