Michael Efevberha returns to Russia

Michael Efevberha (197 cm, California State-Northridge’06) is set to return to Spartak Primorie Vladivostok from Russia’s PBL. The Nigerian-American actually started the 2012-13 season with Spartak and played six games for them and he averaged 12.8 ppg and 3.5 rpg. In January 2013, he moved to CEZ Basketball Nymburk from the Czech Republic’s NBL. He played two games for Nymburk in the Eurocup and only managed to average 1.0 ppg. He performed a bit better for them in the VTB League where he was able to average 7.7 ppg and 1.3 rpg. In three games playing in the Czech Republic’s NBL he managed to notch averages of 11.0 ppg and 1.0 rpg.

He is also a veteran of the NBA D-League. He’s played for the Iowa Energy, Idaho Stampede, and Anaheim Arsenal through various seasons from the period of 2006 to 2009.

    I heard Vladivostok is 14 hours of flying from Barcelona. Unbelievable.
