Phoenix Mercury lands top pick in WNBA Draft

WNBAThe WNBA held their Lottery Drawing tonight live on ESPN with the four teams that did not make the 2012 WNBA playoffs. With an amazing class of talented collegiate players eligible for the draft, including Baylor’s 6’8″ Brittney Griner, the lottery has been anxiously awaited.

The results:

1st Overall Pick: Phoenix Mercury
2nd Pick: Chicago Sky
3rd Pick: Tulsa Shock
4th Pick: Washington Mystics

The WNBA draft will be held next April.
