Merz extended by Fraport SKY

The Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt from Germany’s BBL has made an investment in its future by signing Max Merz (183 cm) to a four-year deal. The 19-year-old Merz has been a mainstay in several German youth National Teams. He was a member of the U17 National Team in 2009 and 2010, the U16 National Team in 2010, and the German U20 National Team this 2013.

He played 18 games in Fraport Sky II this 2012-13 season and averaged 9.7 ppg and 3.3 apg. He was tested in the BBL in three games and averaged 2.0 ppg and 0.7 apg, through an average of 6.7 minutes on the floor.
