Marquez Haynes joins Maccabi Tel-Aviv

Marquez Haynes (191 cm, Texas Arlington’10) has been added by 2014 Turkish Airlines Euroleague champs Maccabi Electra Tel-Aviv (Israel-Winner League) for the 2014-15 season. In 2013-14 Haynes played for a couple of Italian Serie A teams. He began the season with EA7 Emporio Armani Milano. Marquez played 10 Euroleague games for them and averaged 3.0 ppg and 0.4 apg. He also managed to play in 11 games for them in the Italian Serie A and there he averaged 4.5 ppg and 1.0 apg.

In December 2013 Haynes shifted to Montepaschi Siena (Italy-SerieA), where he saw an increase in his minutes and opportunities. In 6 Eurocup games he averaged 12.0 ppg and 4.7 apg. He displayed some improved production in 34 games in the Italian league, where he delivered averages of 14.6 ppg and 4.2 apg.
