Marko Kolaric inks with Villach

Marko Kolaric (213 cm, Charminade’09) will play in the Austrian second tier this season after opting to join Villach Raiders (2. Bundesliga). The Serbian started last season playing for BC Kormend (Hungary, A Division) and in eight games mustered 3.0 points and 4.5 boards per contest. Marko Kolaric was also in brief Eurochallenge action for Kormend, hitting the hardwood in three games before leaving the club in December, 2014.

The power forward stayed in Hungary for the remainder of the 2014/2015 term, but swapped Kormend for Marso Nyiregyhazi (A Division). Whilst there Marko Kolaric played twenty games to close out the season and along the way averaged 11.3 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.2 steals, and 1.2 blocks per appearance.
