Marcus Campbell signs in Qatar

Marcus Campbell (214 cm, Mississippi State’05) has signed in Qatar with Al Rayyan. Last season Marcus Campbell played in Iran, but he also played before in New Zealand, France, Spain, D-League and Italy. Marcus Campbell is expected in Qatar after the weekend.

Market is global. 10 years ago it would have been impossible to predict this scenario.

  Well said.. A reason could be that the steep decline in salaries in Europe make other leagues more interesting to players. At least financially.
