Malik Cooke inks with Kormend

Malik Cooke (198 cm, South Carolina’12) has been announced as the new player at EGIS Kormend (Hungary, Division A and Eurochallenge). The forward signed a one year contract with the Hungarian club after spending the 2013/2014 season in the United Kingdom. Cooke played 38 games for the Newcastle Eagles in the BBL and secured impressive averages of 19.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 2.1 steals per game for the franchise.

The American played for BBC Monthey (Switzerland, LNA) and TV 1862 Langen (Germany, ProB) during the 2012/2013 season. With Langen Malik Cooke played fourteen games and picked up numbers of 16.8 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. The 24-year old graduated from South Carolina in 2012 and next season will be his third as a professional player.
