Malaysia beats Laos and earns first win at SEBA U18

Malaysia earned the first win at the SEABA U18 Championship. They rallied past Laos for 1-2 record. Lian Loo stepped up with 19 points to pace Malaysia. Laos fell at 0-3 record.
Malaysia stormed into the game. They posted a 31:8 lead after ten minutes. Malaysia stretched the margin to 36-point mark at halftime 57:21. Malaysia did not slow down after the big break. They unloaded 35 points in the third term to clear off. Malaysia cruised to the victory afterwards. Zhi Tan (178-G-95) provided 17 points, while Jia Tong (189-F-95) added 16 points for the winning side. Siphandone Sengthong (181-C-96) answered with 16 points for Laos. Aphakone Phommasone (175-G-96) netted 14 points in defeat.
