Linton Johnson inks with Pistoia

Giorgio Tesi Group Pistoia from Italy’s Serie A has landed the services of American forward Linton Johnson (203 cm, Tulane’02) this 2014-15. The 34-year-old veteran played for two teams from the same Italian league in 2013-14. He began the season with Banco di Sardegna Sassari where he averaged 8.4 ppg and 5.9 rpg in 14 games. Linton also played 11 Eurocup games for Sassari and produced averages of 8.4 ppg and 6.2 rpg.

In January 2014 Johnson moved to Cimberio Varese (Italy-SerieA) and he managed to deliver averages of 7.7 ppg and 7.8 rpg in 13 games in the Italian league.
