Leroy Hickerson named player of the day in Mexico

Leroy Hickerson was named player of the day yesterday in Mexico. The guard from the United States has been playing in Mexico with the Halcones for this season and has played in the Philippines and Venezuela previously.

In the last two games, making a huge effort for his new team, he made 24 point, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists against Huracanes and 23 point, 6 rebounds and 6 assists against Correcaminos. His team won both games.

I heard about player of the week, month, season, decade etc.
Player of the day is very cool nomination. Next will be player of a quarter, player of one ball posession :-(
