Leroy Hickerson heads to Uniceub/Brasilia

Thirty-two-year-old Leroy Hickerson (196 cm, Cumberlands’05)  is switching teams in Latin America. The American player is headed to Uniceub/Brasilia (Brazil-NBB) for the 2014/15 season. In 2014 he played three games for San German (Puerto Rico-BSN) and had averages of 10.7 ppg and  4.7 rpg. Earlier during the season Leroy Hickerson played for Globalport (Philippines-PBA) and notched impressive 25.0 points and 9.7 rebounds in three games of the Governor’s Cup.

At the beginning of the 2013/14 season Leroy Hickerson switched between two Mexican teams. He started first for Halcones Xalapa (LNBP) and then in November signed at Halcones Rojos (LNBP). He produced averages of 14.5 ppg and 5.6 rpg in 37 games for Rojos. Hickerson played professionally in Argentina, Canada, Turkey, Venezuela and Mexico.
