Larry Turner released by Koroivos

Larry Turner (210 cm, Tennessee State’07) has been waived by ASA Koroivos Amaliadas (Greece-A1) this 2015. Turner is an American player who also holds a passport from the Dominican Republic. Before he and the team parted ways, the big man was able to play 10 games for them in the Greek league and averaged 4.6 ppg and 3.1 rpg.

Turner began the 2014/15 season with CS Energia Rovinari Targu Jiu (Romania, Liga Nationala). He in eleven Liga Nationala games and struggled to make a big impact with averages of 9.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. It was a similar story for the American through six Eurochallenge games where he offered 6.7 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.
