Kyle Austin added by Cananea

Kyle Austin (203 cm, UC Riverside’10) has been added by the Mineros de Cananea from Mexico’s CIBACOPA. The 24-year-old Austin already logged his first game for the team and was impressive as he scored 29 points and grabbed eight boards against Navolato.

Austin began the 2012-13 season playing in France’s ProB for ALM Evreux Basket. In his brief five-game stint there he averaged 6.2 ppg and 2.8 rpg. In December 2012 he moved to Hungary to play for MJUS-Fortress Kormend (A Division). There he averaged 20.9 ppg and 7.3 rpg in 23 games.
