Khem Birch to play for Usak

Khem Birch (208 cm, UNLV’14) is now a new member of Usak Sportlif (Turkey-TBL) and will be joining the team for the 2015/16 season. Khem is a 22-year-old Canadian player who signed with the Sioux Falls Skyforce (USA-D-League) after being released by the Miami Heat during his rookie season (2014/15). In 52 D-League games Birch was able to post averages of 11.1 ppg and 9.5 rpg. He helped the Skyforce win the Central Division championship and was also named to the D-League All-Star game in 2015.

In his senior year at UNLV Khem averaged 11.5 ppg and 10.2 rpg through 33 games.
