Ken Horton to play in Mexico

Ken Horton (199 cm, Central Connecticut State’12) will be taking his talents to Mexico this 2013-14 season to play for the Huracanes de Tampico (LNBP). The 23-year-old Horton began his pro career playing in the French ProB for SO Martime Boulogne in 2012-13. He managed to log 16 games for them and average 12.5 ppg and 5.4 rpg. He later moved to Forex Time Apollon from Cyprus’ Division A in March 2013. He played two games in the Cyprean league for Apollon and averaged 12.0 ppg and 9.0 rpg.

In his senior year in college, Horton averaged 19.0 ppg and 8.9 rpg. He was named to All-NEC 1st Team in 2011 and 2012. He was included in the NABC Division I All-District 18 1st Team in 2011 and 2012 as well.
