Neptunas Klaipeda (Lithuania-LKL) has signed Keith Benson (210 cm, Oakland’11) for the rest of the 2014-15 season. Benson, who played last season in Belarus for Tsmoki Minsk, is expected to arrive next week in Lithuania and he will make his Euroleague debut in the fourth gameday against Galatasaray. During 2014 season Keith Benson played at Shaanxi (China-NBL). The American player averaged an impressive 28.6 ppg and 15.4 rpg in 18 games. The beginning of the 2014-15 season he, however, started with Tsmoki-Minsk (Belarus-Premier League) and played in three different competitions. Benson averaged 17.3 ppg and 7.3 rpg in EuroChallenge, while logging 15.3 points and 6.3 rebounds in the Belarus Premier League. Moreover, Keith Benson averaged 15.6 ppg and 7.7 rpg in VTB League for his team. The 2014-15 season he started for Banvit Basketbol Kulubu (Turkey-TBL), but was released in September.
