Justin Stommes to Helsinki Seagulls

Justin Stommes (200 cm, Eastern Kentucky’11) has agreed to terms with Finnish Korisliiga team Helsinki Seagulls and will play for them this 2014/15. The 25-year-old Stommes spent the 2013/14 season playing for Landstede Basketbal Zwolle (Netherlands-Eredivisie). In 28 games he was able to produce averages of 15.1 ppg and 4.7 rpg.

He started the 2012/13 season on the roster of Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (Germany-BBL). He left after playing a dozen games for them, posting averages of 5.8 ppg and 1.7 rpg. Stommes moved to the VfL Kirchheim Knights (Germany-ProA) and there he averaged 15.0 ppg and 3.5 rpg.
