Justin Griffin now with Coamo

The Maratonistas de Coamo from Puerto Rico’s BSN have agreed to terms with Mexican-American player Justin Griffin (194 cm, University of Hawaii-Hilo’06) and have added him to their roster this 2015. Griffin has spent majority of his professional career playing in Mexico and this will be his first gig playing in Puerto Rico. He had a lackluster debut for his new team and just played six minutes in his maiden game, during which he failed to score, but managed to hand out one assist. Before moving to Coamo Justin spent the last two seasons playing for Soles de Mexicali (Mexico-LNBP). In 2014/15 he averaged 9.8 ppg and 1.5 apg in 53 games.
