Latvian VEF Riga has confirmed the addition of Justin Cobbs (191 cm, California’14) to the team roster. The American spent the 2014/2015 pre-season with the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA but left the franchise before the campaign started. He also stayed with Laboral Kutxa Vitoria (Spain-Liga Endesa) for a while during pre-season, but did not sign with them. Justin Cobbs was not selected in the 2014 NBA Draft. As a senior at California last season he averaged 15.6 points, 5.8 assists and 2.9 rebounds. Over his three-year career at California, he appeared in 102 games averaging 14.4 points, 5.2 assists and 3.1 rebounds in 34.1 minutes. Prior to joining the Golden Bears, Cobbs played one season at the University of Minnesota.
