Julyan Stone joins Umana Venezia

Italian Serie A club Umana Reyer Venezia has agreed to terms with Julyan Stone (198 cm, UTEP’11) and will be bringing in the guard this 2014-15 season. The 26-year-old Stone played the 2013-14 season with the Toronto Raptors. He was utilized by the team sparingly during the season and he only managed to appear in 18 games. In just over six and a half minutes per game, Julyan averaged 1.0 ppg and 0.7 apg. He tried out for the San Antonio Spurs for the 2014-15 season, but things did not pan out well for the Virginia native. He begins his international career by testing his skills in the premier Italian league.
