Julian Wright left Panathinaikos

Julian Wright (203 cm, Kansas’07) has parted company with Greek powerhouse Panathinaikos Athens (A1 and Euroleague) after two months with the club. The American joined The Greens on a month contract back in October, before extending for another month to see him into December. He has now left the club after nine A1 games and nine Euroleague games.

In the Euroleague this season the forward picked up 9.4 points and 2.0 rebounds per game, while in the A1 he notched 11.2 points and 3.3 boards every appearance. Last season Julian Wright had a productive campaign playing for Krasnie Samara in the Russian PBL. Over eight games he impressed with numbers of 15.3 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game.
