Jovan Stefanov returns to Rustavi

Jovan Stefanov (205 cm, University of Illinois-Chicago’07) has returned to Energy Invest Rustavi from Georgia’s Superleague. The Serbian played his rookie season as a pro for them in the 2007-08 season. He was held scoreless in his comeback game, but did manage to grab eight rebounds in the outing. It could be game rust as the last time he was with a team was in the 2010-11 season. In November 2010 he signed with BC Souffelweyersheim from France’s NM1. He played 14 games there before leaving in March 2011. During that stint he averaged 11.6 ppg and 6.2 rpg.
