Josh Selby

Former NBA guard Josh Selby (187 cm, Kansas’11) has been signed by Croatian club KK Cedevita Zagreb for the 2013-14 season. Selby is heading to Europe after a short run in Asia, playing for China’s Qingdao Double Star Eagles. Josh played just three games for his Chinese team and put up averages of 22.3 ppg and 3.0 apg.

In 2012-13 Selby started off with the Memphis Grizzlies, the team that drafted him in the second round in 2011. He was assigned to the Reno Bighorns of the D-League and there he averaged 22.0 ppg and 7.0 apg in just a couple of games. In January 2013 he was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers, but after that transaction he was then assigned to the Canton Charge where he hit averages of 15.3 ppg and 4.2 apg in 11 games. In March he moved to the D-League’s Maine Red Claws where he played a dozen games and posted averages of 13.6 ppg and 3.2 apg.
