José Silva signs with Vítoria SC

Vítoria SC (from the city of Guimaraes, Portugal) has announced that their will be a new player for the 2012-2013 season: The Portuguese player José Silva, 194 cm, swingman. Silva is playing on the national team at the moment in the Eurobasket’13 qualifiers.

This will be the first time that José Silva is playing out of the Margem Sul Club. He was one of the athletes most depended on with his ex-team, Barreinse, another Portuguese sports club, scoring an average of 10.7 ppg, making 3.2 rpg and 1.1 spg in 22 games.

José Silva is just 23 years old and is the first addition to Guimaraes. In addition to the new player, veterans will be returning: André Bess and captain Paulo Cunha will for sure be on the roster.
